I really feel like going op shopping again soon. I'm addicted. So many of my clothes have been picked up at little country op shops that I love and wear to bits. Often I will adjust things slightly, perhaps shorten a skirt hem, cut out a neckline a little or remove sleeves. I love experimenting and playing with clothes. Can't wait to go out and find more treasures!

I am in no need or want of a boyfriend right now, I think I'm better off on my own at this point for various reasons. But I won't lie and say that these pictures don't tug just a little at my heartstrings!

Spring/Summer collection by Nina and Kaya Egli

Mother and daughter duo Nina and Kaya Egli draw on their combined experience in fashion and design to create their delightful fashion range. Kaya Egli opened her first store selling her own designs and vintage clothing at the age of 20 before going on to become the in house designer for The Beatles Apple shop in London. Nina Egli, already with her own line of jewellery Toujours Toi, made a natural progression into ready to wear, and a transatlantic design partnership evolved; with Nina based in New York and Kaya in Switzerland. Their range includes a delightful selection of dreamy dresses, swish jumpers, beautiful blouses and sophisticated jackets.

The moment

There is no past. There is no future. There is only now. I believe in the moment. I believe the only way to change is by acting now, in this moment. It's all we have.

As of today I am cutting the junk out of my diet and getting healthy. These holidays I have let myself eat pretty much anything and now I think it's time to regulate it a little! My plan is nothing drastic. Drink lots of water, cut out gluten (bread, pasta, cake etc), cut out all meat apart from fish, and eat mainly fruit, vegetables and rice. This is what works for me. The reason I am cutting gluten is because it makes me tired and bloated. Whenever I make a conscious effort not to eat it, I have a lot more energy and just generally feel lighter, happier, better. So I am looking forward to feeling healthier, I shall update on this subject a little later.

Sounds amazing!

I am loving white at the moment. It makes me feel light and fresh and summery. Although it's the worst thing to keep clean, especially considering I am not a perfect example of cleanliness. None the less, I have been acquiring quite a collection of white pieces lately and am thoroughly enjoying them.
